"Why is there an emphasis on extra curricular activities
at PGS?"
We believe that extra curricular opportunities help develop self
confidence, self esteem, friendships, a wide variety of skills and
offer many of the experiences that will bring happiness and success
in life. They help to find everyone something that they are good
at, something that makes them feel special, something that will
help take them places.

"What are the extra curricular activities on offer at PGS?"
There are over 70!

"How do I get some idea of these?"
For the Junior School, many of these are itemised in the school’s
calendar, the Red Book, which you can access by clicking here.
For a similar book at the Senior School, click here.
You will also get ideas from the new section of this website, and
each year the Pictorial Record gives a good idea of the full range
of PGS activities. You can request recent Pictorial Records from
Admissions by clicking here. Best of all, come to see the school’s
annual Open Morning and ask your guide about what is on offer when
you make a visit and have a tour. PGS offers something for everybody
and has an extra curricular programme which encourages individualism
with standards.
