The Junior School was alive with the sound of music last week as we celebrated this most valued aspect of our provision. Music is part of our daily diet and all of our pupils are involved in making, performing and appreciating music. To celebrate this we had a packed programme of concerts, recitals, performances and workshops so that we could share our love of music across the year groups.

Our younger pupils were inspired by their older Junior friends and by Senior School pupils who came across to play and answer questions. Every child had the great pleasure of taking part in Chinese dance and music workshops, producing some wonderful work as a result.

Our music Celebration Assembly at Portsmouth Cathedral was spectacular as the whole Junior School community came together to sing, perform and even dance (thanks to the Jazz Cats for their rendition of YMCA).

A wonderful week showcasing not only our exceptionally talented musicians but also a joyous celebration of something we all love and cherish.
