DEATH TO THE LEFT, LIFE TO THE RIGHT
Death to the Left, Life to the Right is a play which follows the lives of three prisoners, in a location known only as Camp B. As they endure the difficulty of life in this environment, they begin to question themselves, their understanding of the world around them and, ultimately, the worth of their existence.
The play has been written by Yr 12 pupil Tobie Robinson, who sought and secured funding for his production from the Portsmouth Youth Service. Starring a cast of Year 12 pupils, it is set to be taken on a mini tour, which begins in the David Russell Theatre. After two performances there, the cast will then perform at a number of schools in the area, followed by performances at other venues across Portsmouth. All the proceeds from this will be donated to OCD UK, a charity committed to supporting sufferers of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Details of all these performances, and of the play, can be found at www.playdeadfamous.com.
Death to the Left, Life to the Right will premiere on the 25th and 26th April, in the David Russell Theatre, at 7.30pm, and tickets are available from the main reception.
