On Tuesday evening, June 17th, in Portsmouth Cathedral, there will be a reading of poetry from and by Years 7-9 celebrating aspects of PGS history. Nearly 100 pupils have entered the annual Leonardo competition, responding to a series of photographs from our archives that reflect the history of the school over the past 100 years. The prizewinners will be reading their poems in the cathedral from 7.30 onwards, and there will be refreshments available for all. Entry is free. The standard of poems has been outstanding, and it was a real pleasure for the judges to read the poems and select the prizewinners. Come along on Tuesday and hear for yourself.
