Another great year, another great variety of events, Portsmouth Festivities 2016 programme has ended and we have had some excellent feedback from audience members on the great variety of experiences we provide the city, and how enjoyable this year’s programme has been. National Festival Award Winner

We are delighted that Mr Sam Gladstone, Director of Music at The Portsmouth Grammar School, has won a national British Arts and Science Festivals Association award for exceptional service. Mr Gladstone is the UK’s only educator this year to win the prestigious award, which recognises his on-going valuable contributions towards Portsmouth Festivities; the city’s annual flagship art, culture and heritage festival at the end of June.
