Following an art project in the summer of 2019, when Year 9 pupils were inspired by the art deco Hilsea Lido with its cool, blue water, the school has produced a permanent community display of the Lido’s history.

The Lido has been the school playing field’s neighbour at Hilsea for nearly ninety years and several generations of former pupils contributed memories for the display. Intended to be unveiled at the Lido’s 85th anniversary last year, but delayed by the pandemic, the display will hopefully be open to visitors later this summer when normal opening hours are resumed.
