The Sixth Form Ignite Film School has been well underway this term. The pupils began their project learning how to use professional filming equipment used in the industry including cameras, microphones and gimbles.
They then explored artistic decisions, considering the impact of different camera angles and effects to impress their audience, and started to plan and story-board their own short film. Over the following weeks, they filmed around the school site and in Old Portsmouth, adapting to different lighting, wind levels and enthusiastic dogs on the beach!
Currently they are learning how to use professional editing software  to create a high quality finish to showcase their excellent efforts over the term.  We look forward to the première!
