Before the Easter holiday PGS ventured down the rabbit hole into Wonderland, for playwright Laura Wade’s modern adaptation, Alice. The audience attended their very own Mad Hatter’s tea party, eating cakes and sandwiches, whilst enjoying the fantastic acting talent of the Year 9 and 10 cast.

We were taken on an emotional rollercoaster, witnessing Alice’s encounters with the strangely familiar characters; the humorous Tweedles, the perplexing Humpty-Dumpty and the smiling Cheshire Cat. Alice finds herself at the centre of the Queen’s Croquet Match, complete with flustered flamingos and happy hedgehogs, competing against the tart stealing Knave of Hearts. Alice learns she must overcome life’s challenges to find her way back home.

Many congratulations to the cast and crew for their dedication and hard work on this production.
