Nurturing and developing
It is so important that your child feels happy, that their contribution is cherished and that they learn to understand the importance of forming friendships and enjoying their learning journey together.
Nurturing and developing a lifelong love of learning is at the heart of our Early Years provision and your child will benefit greatly from a caring, supportive and individualised approach to their personal development. The children learn through enjoying a stimulating environment playing and growing together under the guidance and care of well qualified and professional staff.
A seamless transition
From their first day in our Pre-School through to the end of their Reception year, we aim to promote the personal skills of sharing, respect and independence alongside covering the more traditional areas of learning: literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, expressive arts and design. This all centres on the development of your child; it is enriched with lessons in French, Music, PE and cookery and from a themed approach to learning as part of our Connected Curriculum.
Children thrive in this happy, coeducational environment in bright, spacious classrooms supported by excellent teaching and technology.
The strong and secure foundations provided in the Pre-School and Reception ensure not only a smooth transition into Year 1, but also an awareness of a love of learning that will help embed their future success and happiness as they continue their learning journey through the Junior School, Senior School and beyond.
