This week we were delighted to welcome pupils from Bishop Luffa School and Bournemouth School for Girls who joined nearly 90 PGS Economics and Business Studies pupils for the Institute for Economic Affairs Autumn Sixth Form Conference.

The pupils heard from Grant Tucker from the IEA, Dr Steve Davies who spoke about the history of globalisation, Professor Philip Booth who got everyone thinking about possible solutions to Market Failure, and Professor Len Shackleton who spoke about poverty and living wages from a labour market point of view.

The day was highly relevant to all the pupils that attended and certainly made them think about these topics in more depth.
