Last week we enjoyed a fantastic Junior School Harvest Festival Assembly in St Thomas’ Cathedral. It was great having the whole Junior School under one roof as we welcomed our Reception and Pre-School pupils for the first time.

Children of all ages helped to explain the meaning of Harvest and the youngest children in the School presented some of the vegetables that they had grown in the Pre-School garden along with a few extras! We were also delighted to welcome Jackie Peters from the Portsmouth Foodbank charity, who explained where all of the food donations would be going. Jackie was overwhelmed by the number of items that were generously given and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole Junior School community for working together to support this extremely worthy cause.
