Each lunchtime during Mental Health Week, 8 – 12 May 2017, pupils were able to attend a number of talks. Below are links to the presentations and notes used by some of the speakers during the week.
Katy Sexton MBE has been a successful British swimmer, representing England at the Commonwealth Games and Great Britain at the Olympic Games, World and European Championships since 13 years of age. Katy narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Now she runs a successful swim school in Portsmouth and works as a Personal Trainer, training clients at Sweat in Southsea. Katy has been a Patron of Off The Record (a counselling service for children aged 11-25) since 2012, having had counselling and struggling with depression herself.
