The Easter holidays were a busy time as pupils and staff headed out on a variety of trips around Europe.
The Years 10-13 History and German trip took in sites including the Bunkers of Berlin, the 1936 Olympic Stadium and Bavarian Film Studios. Meanwhile Year 8 travelled to France to ski the alpine slopes and PGS Geographers were in Tenerife exploring banana groves and volcanic geology. Heading out in to the great British outdoors were two teams of Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award pupils training for their summer expeditions – one walking, one in canoes!
56 pupils in the Junior School visited southern Spain on their Sports Tour – highlights including a slightly wet rugby match in Malaga which was very competitive, but showed great spirit, team work.
Thank you to all the staff who put in so much work to make these trips successful and to all the pupils for being such wonderful ambassadors for the school.
