As part of our commitment to promote wellbeing and community we were delighted to celebrate Poetry Together at PGS this week.
This wellbeing initiative brings different generations together to memorise and recite poems followed by tea and cake. At PGS we invited our pupils to learn a poem to perform with one of their grandparents and we were delighted that so many families in both the Junior School and Senior School took part.
There were performances of works by Edward Lear, Alan Alexander Milne, Brian Patten, William Wordsworth and Maya Angelou amongst many others. It was an incredibly affirming and happy occasion, thank you to everyone that took part in performing and organising the event.
