The RMVT (Royal Marines Visiting Team) ran the CCF last week for the Royal Navy cadets.

The session largely involved a fitness assessment, example training (including a bleep test, sit ups and push ups) followed by a variety of competitive games. Emily Whitehead, one of the RN CCF NCOs (Non-Commissioned Officers) described it as “sadistic fun”. Oliver Nash was the longest standing in the bleep test with an outstanding score of 10, which is almost a pass in the recruitment process to join the Marines and Isabel Geddes managed a phenomenal 90 sit-ups in one go!
