We welcome girls and boys at 11+ into Year 7, 13+ into Year 9, and into the Sixth Form.  Entry at other ages is also possible.

Our main point of entry is into Year 7.  Pupils become part of the Middle School in Years 7 and 8, which provides a supportive and stimulating transition to life in the Senior School with its own House system, a dedicated Middle School Common Room and full use of all the main school facilities.  A broad curriculum enables the children to experience a wide range of academic subjects, whilst our outstanding co-curricular provision helps the children to form strong friendships at an early stage in their senior school careers.

The next main point of entry is into Year 9.  This is an important stage for all the children as they begin choosing options and enjoy a foundation year in preparation for GCSE and IGCSE courses.  There are four Houses which provide a vertical mix of pupils from Years 9-13 and further opportunities in the co-curricular programme, thanks to Monday afternoon activities, to develop new friendships and interests.

The Sixth Form at PGS provides an excellent preparation for university and future careers.  Pupils can choose between A level and the International Baccalaureate diploma.  Sixth Form pupils enjoy superb facilities, a wide range of opportunities for leadership and personal development, and the best possible pastoral support and guidance for university and careers.

Prospective families are warmly invited to visit the school and to meet the Headmaster, Mr James Priory.
