This week the Sixth Form passed on all the generous donations made to their Christmas charity appeal.

At the assembly on Tuesday Mr Geoff Chape from the Salvation Army spoke about the huge difference receiving the small luxury items will make to families locally this Christmas whilst Matthew Husselby thanked everyone for donating the essential items that will be sent out to Uganda.

To understand the differences and extent that people live in poverty both close to home and in Kampala made for a very reflective assembly.

Thank you to everyone who donated so generously to this year’s appeal.
