Following the launch of the new Sixth Form Enrichment Curriculum, this week Year 12 pupils have been choosing options whilst attending a range of talks delivered by inspirational figures across our community and beyond. The new Community and Workplaces programme (CAW) began with local council figures Mike Horton, Deputy Director of Children’s Services Portsmouth and Councillor Suzy Horton (OP) speaking about the issues and challenges the city is facing. In Ignite, Emma Cole spoke with pupils about living with HIV diagnosis for 30 years, whilst Extend pupils are looking forward to a talk this Friday by Southampton academic Emma Thompson on ‘The Benefits and Challenges of the EPQ’.
