Last Friday the Sixth Form Centre hosted 50 career professionals representing sectors ranging from science and engineering to finance, computing, design, the armed forces, music, languages, technology and law. Over 500 pupils from Years 10-13 seized the opportunity to discuss career pathways in depth and detail. Thank you to the OPs, parents and others who generously gave up their time to offer advice and guidance.

This was the first time this event has been held in the afternoon (rather than the evening) and in December (rather than March). The new date and time allowed more pupils than ever before to benefit from the expertise of the career professionals there and enabled them to do so in advance of their A level/IB/university choices. We aim to repeat this format at our next Careers Convention – scheduled for Friday, 25 November, 2016. We hope to see you there.
