The Catering team at PGS want to challenge the perception of school dining. The focus of CH&Co, the company that provide catering at PGS, isn’t school food, it’s on great food that captures the imagination and just happens to be eaten at school. They provide a fresh food service and constantly evolve their offer in line with new guidance on nutrition and healthy eating for children. Clarity and transparency are the focal points of our food philosophy and approach to a balanced diet.
The menus are created through sustainable, ethical and local procurement which is endorsed by the Sustainable Restaurant Association who have awarded us a Gold 3 Star rating.

Lunch Payments
For the convenience of parents, we run a termly charging system for food. This helps us effectively manage costs and offset the effects of food inflation. We work closely with a professional nutritionist, Amanda Ursell, to continuously improve our food provision which includes a convenient, contemporary, ‘grab and go’ cold selection alongside a varied hot food menu that operates on a three-week cycle. Your child will also be able to purchase additional snacks, cooked breakfast and other additional food items on a pre-paid card.
