Points of Entry
We are fully co-educational throughout the school, and pupils may join at the following main entry points.
- 2½ (Pre-School)
- 4+ (Reception)
- 7+ (Year 3)
- 11+ (Year 7)
- 13+ (Year 9)
- 16+ (Sixth Form)
It is on occasion possible to offer places in other year groups, and we are experienced in supporting families who are relocating to the area from other parts of the UK or overseas.
How to Apply
Scholarships & Financial Assistance
A range of scholarships are available to recognize exceptional academic achievement, as well as talent in co-curricular pursuits, including Art, Drama, Music and Sport.
The Portsmouth Grammar School also seeks to offer means-tested financial assistance to talented pupils who would not otherwise be able to attend the school.
