js: year 4 trips (residential)

Last week was certainly one to remember for Year 4! We had an exciting visit to the Mary Rose Museum, where the children explored the fascinating history of Henry VIII’s famous ship. They were amazed by the artefacts recovered from the seabed and enjoyed learning about life aboard the Tudor warship. The visit brought our learning to life and encouraged the children to ask thoughtful questions, show curiosity and deepen their understanding of the past.

The adventure continued as we headed off on our two-day residential to PGL Marchants Hill. The children threw themselves into every activity with enthusiasm and determination. From eco-trails and sensory trails to archery, climbing and zip lining, everyone showed fantastic resilience, teamwork and courage when trying new challenges. It was wonderful to see the children encouraging one another, building confidence, forging new friendships and stepping outside of their comfort zones.

The children represented the school brilliantly throughout the trip, demonstrating resilience, collaboration, curiosity, courage and respect at all times. We are incredibly proud of them all for their positive attitudes and adventurous spirit. What an unforgettable week!
