The Portsmouth Grammar School is situated in the heart of the vibrant, cosmopolitan city that Portsmouth has become.

The school is in Old Portsmouth, just metres away from the Solent and on a street where Portsmouth Football Club was formed, the Duke of Buckingham was assassinated and where Nelson spent his last night before leaving on HMS Victory for the Battle of Trafalgar.  All of which means everyone in Portsmouth will be able to point you in our direction.

Portsmouth is linked to the motorway network by the M27 and M275, and being central to the city the road network easily leads you to our door.  Trains come in to Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour stations from all over the south coast and from the mainline route to London via Petersfield, Haslemere and Guildford.  Both city stations are within a fifteen minute walk of the school.  Ferries and hovercrafts constantly traverse the water from the Isle of Wight and Gosport, their terminals are again only fifteen minutes walk away from us.

So whether you are coming to visit us as a parent, pupil or for business we are easy to reach.  The directions to our door can be found on pages in this section, as well as information about the daily trip in to school.
