With our pupils ranging in age from 2½ to 18 years, we are very much a family school, and the involvement of parents in contributing to the school community is valuable and important to us.

Our aim is to develop open and mutually supportive relationships with parents, welcoming the contribution they make to their children’s progress and involving them in the community as a whole.  There are Parents’ Forums in the Junior and Senior Schools who meet each term, and the doors are always open should you wish to discuss any ideas or concerns you may have about your child’s development or about the school.

Each week during term time we communicate with parents and families via our school newsletters.   The Lion is the weekly newsletter for the Junior School and PGS Preview is the weekly Senior School newsletter.  Both are packed with stories, articles and information about forthcoming events in the school calendar.

PGS Portal and PGS Online

PGS Portal and PGS Online are the school’s virtual learning environment and it is an interactive, fun and engaging online resource that PGS parents also have access to.

Through PGS Portal, parents and guardians have secure, 24-hour access to personalised data about their children using only one username and password. From one intuitive, simple-to-use dashboard, parents can access reports, timetables, the school calendar and sports fixtures from their desktop, tablet, or mobile device. Importantly, moving all the school information to one system will ensure parents do not have to remember logins to multiple systems.

If you are a current parent at the school, you can log on to PGS Portal by clicking here.
