The Junior School Association, or JSA, is an energetic and dedicated group of parents who organise a series of social and family events to complement the Junior School calendar. Their primary purpose is to encourage the participation of our families and their friends in Junior School life and to strengthen the special relationship we have between school and home. Events like the Summer Fete and Christmas Fayre are wonderful family occasions; Quiz Nights and the Spring Ball provide our mums and dads with the opportunity to mix and spend social time together, whilst the children let their hair down at regular discos and parties. The JSA’s secondary role is to raise funds for school projects. Last year they partly funded the new Junior School play area and provided Pre-School with a stunning play house. The JSA have also funded visits from authors and musicians and their latest project is to fund a flag design competition; the winning entry will made into a real flag and will fly proudly from our play ship, Lionheart.
Every Form has a JSA Rep and they are invited, along with anyone else who would like to, to regular meetings. Always lively, the meetings provide an opportunity for new ideas to be discussed and projects to be funded.
